FAQ
We would love for you to bring your furry friends! Please kindly let us know in advance if you will be bringing a pet with you. We do have a pet fee of $100 for the first 2 pets and $50 for each additional pet. This fee is to cover additional cleaning and maintenance. Unfortunately, we can’t allow cats due to allergies. In consideration of other guests with allergies, we kindly ask that you keep your furry friend out of the bedrooms and off the furniture.
The community where our house is located (Locust Lake Village) requires that the guests complete an online registration. However, please note that last minute reservations or registrations submitted less than 72 hours before check-in will incur a $35 late registration fee charged by the community. If you plan to fish in the community lakes, you’ll need a PA fishing license, and you must register anyone who will be fishing. Please complete the fishing section in the registration form if you intend to fish. Only one form is needed per booking, so you can fill out the registration on behalf of your group.

Yes, the hot tub is available year-round and will be in perfect working condition during your stay. Please avoid adding anything to the hot tub like water from the hose, chemicals, bubbles, soap, shampoo, or food and drinks. If we have to drain and refill the hot tub because of this, there will be a $100 charge for the hot tub company service call.
Please drop off your garbage (bagged) and recycling (mingled, loose) at the central Locust Lake Village compactor . You can find directions and hours of operation in your welcome packet from the Village. If you’re leaving us on Tuesday or Thursday when the compactor is closed, please take whatever garbage you have to the compactor the previous day before it closes, and our cleaning team will take care of disposing of whatever is left after your check-out on Tuesday or Thursday.

If the office is closed, please, pop up by the office tomorrow morning to collect the welcome pack and just a reminder that you still will need to put into your GPS the office address first of 1778 Lake Lane, Pocono Lake to begin, even though you are not registering today. Once you get there, you can place the house address into the GPS and go straight to the house. This is to avoid the GPS taking you to the back gate of the property which is locked.
The office hours are:

Fri 9:00am-6:00pm
Sat 8:30am-6:00pm

If you do put the heaters on, please turn them off when you’re not in the rooms as we try to keep energy usage down if we can.
We have portable AC units in the bedrooms to ensure you’re comfortable during your stay. When you head out for the day or check out, could you please turn them off? It helps us conserve energy. Thanks.
